What are Duels?

Duels are a battle format that was introduced to Clash Royale in 2022. Each battle is played as a best of 3, and players have to use decks with no cards in common.

This format is very common in competitive Clash Royale, and also used in Clan Wars 2 battles.

For in-game duels, players have to first choose 4 decks with no cards in common. These decks cannot be modified during the duel, and players can only change the order in which they are played.

In-game duels only support Tower Princess as a Tower Troop, and have 2 evolution slots available for each deck.

The combinations of 4 decks that are compatible with each other are known as Duel Deck Sets.

Finding full Duel Deck Sets can be a challenging, specially if you want to use meta decks. This blog reveals the best Duel Deck Sets used by professional players during CRL, including the decks that weren't used during the best of 3.

The Duel Deck Sets were used during Day 1 of the CRL 2025 Season 2, also known as Calalas Cup.

This list features Duel Deck Sets of the top 32 players of the Swiss tournament. Usually players adjust their deck sets for each opponent. We have chosen the most used or most recent deck set for each player.
